BROOK ENTERPRISE shall appoint employees for the vacant positions on a voluntary basis and through free and fair selection process. Overtime work is voluntary. Employees will not be forced or coerced to work overtime. All employees will be treated on an equal basis and with due respect and dignity. No employees will be treated partially. Any employee desirous of leaving the service can do so after giving one month’s notice to the company.

POLICY ON MINIMUM WAGES FOR EMPLOYMENT:


BROOK ENTERPRISE is committed to pay all its employees the wages including Basic and Dearness Allowance as per the “Government Order on Minimum Wages for textile Industry” issued by the Maharashtra Government. Whenever the State Government revises the minimum wage structure, we shall incorporate the revision in our wage structure.

ANTI -SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION POLICY:-


BROOK ENTERPRISE is committed to provide work environment free of sexual harassment and discrimination on any grounds. All employees are prohibited from harassing, abusing or discriminating others in any form. Necessary disciplinary action will be taken against those who are found guilty of harassing, abusing or discriminating others.

SHARP TOOLS POLICY:


BROOK ENTERPRISE is committed to ensure that all sharp tools such as blade, scissors and trimmers are fastened to the workstation to prevent any injury to the workers and mixing of such sharp tools with the final product. Any broken sharp tool is recovered immediately from the workstation and replaced with new sharp tool to prevent any injury to workers.

ANTI SMOKING POLICY:


BROOK ENTERPRISE is committed to keep its facility’s factory area as a smoke free zone and strictly prohibit smoking by anyone inside the factory campus.

ANTI PREGNANCY TESTING POLICY:


BROOK ENTERPRISE shall not require female employees to undergo pregnancy test as a condition for joining the facility or for continuing their employment in the organization. No pregnant employee is discriminated for any reason.

POLICY ON COMMUNCIATIONS:


BROOK ENTERPRISE shall communicate its policies and procedures and the communication requirement of applicable laws and standards through posters and other display materials, notices, circulars, internal meetings, awareness training programs etc. for effective understanding of the same by its employees and interested parties.

SAFETY JOB POLICY:


BROOK ENTERPRISE is committed to ensure the safety of its personnel by constantly training them on the usage of adequate Personal Protective Equipment’s and health & safety procedures. We are displaying safety instructions near the machines, devices and equipment’s to achieve optimum level of occupational health & safety.

BATTERY DISPOSAL POLICY:


BROOK ENTERPRISE shall not retain an obsolete or otherwise not usable battery in order to protect the environment. The obsolete batteries are either exchanged while purchase of new batteries or disposed in the second’s goods market. – authorized battery handlers.

PROHIBITION OF CHILD LABOUR:


As an organization, BROOK ENTERPRISE want to do business in a legal, ethical manner adding value to society and the environment instead of doing harm. Helping stop child labor is fundamental to us. We want to make sure that our organization shall not engage in or support the use of child labour and also helps end it to the best of our ability.
